Briant Broadband Launches Briant Mobile
Briant Mobile takes the Worthing broadband provider beyond its fixed network, with nationwide SIM-only plans delivered through data2go.mobi.
Briant Broadband has launched Briant Mobile, a UK-wide mobile service powered by data2go.mobi’s eSIM platform. It is available beyond Briant’s local fibre footprint, so you do not need to live in Sussex to consider a plan.
The companies announced the live service on 1 October 2026. Briant’s website lists monthly rolling SIM-only plans with UK calls and texts. The partnership is about selling mobile under the Briant name; the announcement does not identify the radio network carrying customers’ calls and data.
Briant is based in Worthing and supplies fixed broadband and VoIP services.
The new SIM service is offered outside the areas served by Briant’s own fibre network, subject to mobile coverage.
What Briant Mobile costs at launch
The public plan page lists four data allowances. All four advertise unlimited UK calls and texts, 5G where available and monthly rolling terms.
| Monthly data | Price shown | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| 5GB | £10.00 / month | Light browsing and messaging |
| 10GB | £12.50 / month | Regular day-to-day use |
| 20GB | £17.50 / month | More frequent streaming and sharing |
| Unlimited | £22.50 / month | Heavy mobile data use |
Prices shown on Briant Mobile’s public plans page when checked on 1 October 2026. Its page also shows a broadband-customer/new-customer selector and describes the 10GB price as exclusive to broadband customers. Confirm the price and eligibility at checkout before ordering.
The site says customers can keep their existing number for free and choose eSIM or a physical SIM option. A phone must support eSIM if you want digital activation; a physical SIM remains the practical route for an incompatible handset.
Why Briant partnered with data2go.mobi
A local broadband company can already handle billing, support and the customer relationship, but launching mobile normally adds SIM distribution and platform costs. Briant says data2go’s eSIM platform made that step easier. The platform is built and operated by UK telecoms software company Bluehouse Technology.
For Briant, the commercial gain is reach. Mobile subscriptions can be sold to households outside its fixed-network area, while existing broadband customers can use the same brand for another connection. That is an opportunity for Briant, rather than evidence that its fibre network has expanded nationally.

Briant’s managing director Adrian Bain said the platform reduced the operational complexity that had previously made a mobile launch difficult to justify.
The details worth checking
The headline prices are useful, but mobile value depends on where the service works and the terms attached to your chosen plan. Check these points with Briant before moving a number:
This is a phone SIM offer, rather than a replacement for Briant’s fixed full-fibre connection. If you are comparing a mobile signal as your main home connection, our 5G home broadband pros and cons guide covers the different trade-offs.
The short view
Briant Mobile is live with four public SIM-only options starting at £10 a month. The data2go partnership lets Briant sell mobile nationally, including beyond its Sussex roots. Confirm the host network, local coverage and your final tariff before you switch.
Briant Mobile FAQs
Is Briant Mobile available outside Sussex?
Yes. Briant and data2go say the mobile service is available nationally, beyond Briant’s fixed-network footprint. Actual signal still depends on coverage at your location.
Do I need Briant Broadband to join Briant Mobile?
No. Briant’s mobile site offers a new-customer route, and the launch is intended to reach people outside its broadband footprint. Check whether a displayed plan price depends on being a broadband customer.
Does Briant Mobile support eSIM?
Yes. The launch is powered by data2go.mobi’s eSIM platform. Briant’s plan page also advertises physical SIM swaps, so check the available SIM format for your handset when ordering.
Which mobile network does Briant Mobile use?
The joint launch announcement and public plan page do not identify the underlying UK radio network. Ask Briant which network carries the service before joining if coverage matters at your address.
