BT TV Prices and Packages 2026
Compare the TV charge, the price after any offer and the broadband bill before choosing a package.
How much does BT TV cost?
| Package | First 3 months | Then, until 30 Mar 2027 | From 31 Mar 2027 | From 31 Mar 2028 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Entertainment | £15 | £15 | £17 | £19 |
| Entertainment Plus | £19 | £19 | £21 | £23 |
| Sport | £5 | £27 | £29 | £31 |
| Sport Plus | £30 | £55 | £57 | £59 |
| Full Works | £88 | £88 | £90 | £92 |
Sport and Sport Plus have three-month introductory discounts. Entertainment, Entertainment Plus and Full Works show no equivalent three-month step-up in these offers. The dated increases above are separate.
These are advertised offers, rather than a promise that an existing account can move onto the same price. Confirm eligibility, availability and the full order summary before signing up. BT’s current package cards show £0 upfront for activation and equipment postage.
What do you get with each package?
- Entertainment
- NOW Entertainment, Netflix Standard with Ads and the non-recording Box Edge.
- Entertainment Plus
- Adds HBO Max Basic with Ads and comes with the recording Box Pro.
- Sport
- TNT Sports HD channels and TNT Sports on HBO Max, with Box Pro.
- Sport Plus
- TNT Sports plus Sky Sports through NOW Sports in HD, with Box Pro.
- Full Works
- A wider entertainment-and-sport bundle, including Netflix Standard without adverts, HBO Max Basic with Ads, Sky Sports and TNT Sports, with Box Pro.
Check the complete membership list, including any cinema or picture-quality extras you want. Do not pay for a second subscription to something your selected plan already includes.
If recording matters, the jump from Entertainment to Entertainment Plus buys more than another streaming membership. For how the equipment and service work, see our BT TV explainer.
What will you pay with broadband?
Your combined bill depends on the BT Broadband quote for your address, the TV tier and any extras. Compare that total with your current spending. Our BT broadband price tracker provides dated broadband comparisons; it is separate from the TV charges above.

Monthly estimates for an October 2026 start, using standard £4 broadband and £2 TV annual increases. Use only if your quote follows those increases. Extras stay at the amount entered. One-off charges, changes to broadband discounts and separate increases to extras are excluded.
How do the March price increases work?
BT’s standard current terms increase the monthly TV charge by £2 and broadband by £4 on 31 March each year. For a bundle using both increases, that is another £6 a month at each listed March date.
I would compare the price after the sports promotion first, then check the March figures. The introductory discount and annual rise are separate events, so concentrating on only one can understate the bill you will actually pay.
Older agreements and some broadband products can have different terms. Use the amounts and dates in your own contract, rather than applying a current new-customer offer to an existing bill.
Which extras can increase the bill?
| Extra | Monthly charge |
|---|---|
| NOW Cinema | £9.99 |
| NOW Entertainment & HBO Max | £9.99 |
| NOW Sports | £34.99 |
| Extra room with Box Edge | £10 |
Check whether an extra is already bundled into your plan, what streaming tier it supplies and whether it changes your commitment. These add-on prices are not the same thing as the main TV package prices.
Netflix upgrades, rentals, purchases or optional installation can add more. A £0 activation offer does not make every optional service free.
Can you move to a cheaper TV package?
BT’s flexible plans allow changes to the TV tier while the underlying agreement continues. Its help says downgrades are available once every 30 days, excluding the first month and the final three months of the contract.
The price you are offered when changing can differ from the introductory offer advertised to new customers. Check the replacement monthly charge and whether the change affects the minimum term before confirming.
BT says the EE TV to BT TV name change on 15 October 2026 keeps existing BT Broadband customers’ TV package and monthly price unchanged. The rebrand itself does not put an account onto the promotional prices in this guide.
If your broadband is also due for renewal, our guide to negotiating a better broadband deal explains how to prepare for that conversation.
Which package makes financial sense?
Buy the content you use
Start with the channels or competitions you want. A broader bundle only saves money if it replaces subscriptions you would otherwise pay for.
Value recording separately
If you rely on recordings, include the supplied box in your comparison. The cheapest entertainment tier may not suit how you watch.
Check the full commitment
Compare broadband, TV, extras, fees and each scheduled price stage. Keep the final order summary so you can check the first bill against it.
