Which EE Broadband Speed Should You Choose?

Best value for most homes: Full Fibre 150

At £22.99 a month, this was tied for the lowest tracked price and should be enough for several simultaneous streams, video calls, gaming and everyday downloads.

Best when full fibre is unavailable: Fibre 67

Fibre 67 was also £22.99 a month. It is the strongest value among the tracked part-fibre plans, although actual line speed depends on the copper distance to the cabinet.

Best upgrade for busy families: Full Fibre 300

Full Fibre 300 cost only £1 more than Full Fibre 150 in the snapshot. It offers more headroom for large downloads, 4K streaming and multiple people working from home.

Best for maximum speed: Full Fibre 1.6Gb

The 1.6Gb Premium plan is aimed at the heaviest users. Check that your router, wired network and devices support multi-gig speeds before paying extra for it.

Speed is not the only difference. EE lets customers choose a speed and then an available plan level. Router, security, whole-home Wi‑Fi and support features can differ between Core, Standard, Premium and Ultimate, so compare the included equipment as well as the headline monthly price.

How EE’s Annual Broadband Price Rises Affect These Deals

The tracked offers stated that the broadband plan price would increase by £4 on 31 March each year during the minimum term. This means the starting monthly price is not necessarily the amount paid throughout the full 24 months.

Illustrative scheduled monthly prices based on a £4 rise on 31 March 2027 and another £4 rise on 31 March 2028.

Check the checkout wording. Annual price-rise terms can depend on the date and type of contract. Use the figures above only for offers that explicitly show the same £4 annual increase and dates.

Estimated 24-Month Cost, Not Just the Headline Price

A starting price is useful for comparing deals, but the estimated minimum-term cost gives a clearer picture. For a contract beginning on 16 June 2026, this calculation assumes nine months at the starting price, twelve months after the March 2027 rise, and three months after the March 2028 rise.

Illustrative 24-month broadband cost for a contract beginning 16 June 2026. This excludes optional extras, calls, TV, reward cards and switching credits.
EE plan Headline price × 24 Estimated cost with rises Illustrative extra from rises
Fibre 36£599.76£671.76£72.00
Fibre 50£599.76£671.76£72.00
Fibre 67£551.76£623.76£72.00
Full Fibre 150£551.76£623.76£72.00
Full Fibre 300£575.76£647.76£72.00
Full Fibre 500£599.76£671.76£72.00
Full Fibre 900£623.76£695.76£72.00
Full Fibre 1.6Gb Premium£815.76£887.76£72.00

Reward cards or switching credits may reduce the effective cost, but they are not deducted here because their value, eligibility and expiry dates can change independently of the monthly broadband price.

How to Find the Best EE Deal at Your Address

Run the postcode check

Confirm which part-fibre and full-fibre speeds are actually available. A cheaper national headline offer is irrelevant if the network cannot supply it to your home.

Compare every available speed

Promotional pricing can make a faster plan cheaper than a slower one. Compare the starting price, annual rises, router and included support.

Check the total contract cost

Add scheduled price rises and setup fees, then subtract only rewards you are confident you will claim. Do not compare deals using the first-month price alone.

How We Track EE Broadband Prices

We record the lowest publicly advertised new-customer, broadband-only price found for each tracked EE speed on the date shown. We separate promotional checkout prices from EE’s much higher maximum tariff-guide figures because a maximum price is not the same as the deal most new customers are offered.

The May and June snapshots were checked against public broadband comparison listings and EE’s own pages describing its available speeds, plan levels and annual price changes. Where a consistent nationwide promotional price could not be verified, we do not invent one.

Full Fibre 74 and Full Fibre 100 are part of EE’s wider range, but they are not included in the main historical table because a consistent public promotional price was not verified for both snapshot dates. They may still appear in an address-specific quote.

EE Broadband Prices: Frequently Asked Questions

How much is EE broadband for a new customer?

In the 15 June 2026 snapshot, tracked starting prices ranged from £22.99 a month for Fibre 67 and Full Fibre 150 to £33.99 for Full Fibre 1.6Gb Premium. Your final quote can vary by address and available plan tier.

What is the cheapest EE broadband deal?

The cheapest tracked price was £22.99 a month. Both Fibre 67 and Full Fibre 150 were advertised at that price on 15 May and 15 June 2026.

Did EE broadband prices change between May and June 2026?

No. None of the eight tracked new-customer prices changed between the 15 May and 15 June snapshots.

Does EE increase broadband prices during the contract?

The tracked offers showed a £4 increase on 31 March each year during the minimum term. Always check the exact annual price-rise wording displayed for your deal before ordering.

Are EE broadband prices the same at every address?

No. Available speeds, plan levels and promotional discounts depend on the postcode and the Openreach network serving the property.

Which EE broadband speed is best for most homes?

Full Fibre 150 should suit many households that stream, work from home, game and connect several devices. It was also tied for the cheapest price in this snapshot. Larger or heavier-use homes may benefit from 300Mbps or more.

Why can faster EE broadband be cheaper than a slower plan?

Providers discount different speed tiers at different times. Promotional pricing can therefore make a faster plan cheaper than an entry-level package, which is why customers should compare all available speeds.

Are Full Fibre 74 and Full Fibre 100 available from EE?

EE includes these speeds in its wider product range, but a consistent public promotional price was not verified for both historical dates used in this tracker. They may appear after an address check.
