Junara Email Pricing: How Much Does It Cost?
VIRGIN MEDIA TRANSFER COST • FREE PERIOD • ONGOING SUBSCRIPTION • PER MAILBOX
For eligible current Virgin Media customers, the confirmed upfront Junara transfer fee is 99p
Current Virgin Media broadband, landline or TV customers are offered 12 months of Junara free, subject to a 99p transfer fee. Customers who have told Virgin Media they need additional support are offered 18 months free.
After the free period, keeping the mailbox requires a paid Junara subscription. Junara still does not publish one universal Virgin Media renewal price: its pricing and Virgin Media pages ask you to enter and verify the email address before showing the plans and prices available to that mailbox.
Former Virgin Media customers are different. Virgin Media says people who no longer have its broadband, landline or TV service need to sign up to a standard Junara plan if they want to keep the existing address.

How Junara billing works
The Manx.net price gives some context — but not the Virgin Media answer
When Manx Telecom moved Manx.net users to Junara in 2025, it published specific migration pricing:
Those figures are useful historical context for a previous ISP-email migration, but they are not the confirmed Virgin Media renewal price and should not be treated as a forecast.
What we know — and what we still do not know
That is why a single headline such as “Junara costs £X per year” would currently be misleading for Virgin Media users. The exact paid plan needs to be checked against the mailbox being transferred. The 12-month free period is specifically for eligible current Virgin Media broadband, landline or TV customers; former customers are directed to a standard Junara plan.
The bottom line
If you are an eligible current Virgin Media service customer, budget for the 99p transfer fee and treat the later Junara renewal price as a separate cost that must be checked through the mailbox-specific sign-up process. If you are a former Virgin Media customer, check the standard Junara plan shown for your address before deciding whether keeping the old mailbox is worth the cost.
Junara pricing FAQs
How much does Junara cost after the Virgin Media free period?
Junara does not publish one universal Virgin Media renewal price. Its pricing and Virgin Media pages ask you to enter and verify an eligible email address before showing the plans and prices available to that mailbox.
Is the 99p Virgin Media fee the ongoing Junara price?
No. The 99p is the transfer fee for eligible current Virgin Media broadband, landline or TV customers. The paid Junara subscription begins after the applicable free period.
Do former Virgin Media customers get 12 months of Junara free?
Virgin Media says former customers who no longer have its broadband, landline or TV service need to sign up to a standard Junara plan if they want to keep the existing email address.

Yes. Junara says separate primary mailboxes are billed and managed separately. Existing aliases attached to one primary mailbox transfer with it at no additional charge.
