TalkTalk Community Forum Is Gone: Where Customers Can Get Help Now
FORUM CLOSED • LIVE CHAT • MY ACCOUNT • PHONE SUPPORT • HELP CENTRE
The TalkTalk Community Forum is no longer available.
TalkTalk has now confirmed that its long-running customer forum is gone. The provider’s own Help & Support page says the TalkTalk Community is no longer available and redirects customers towards its Help Centre, My Account, live chat, phone support and the Wi-Fi Assist app.
This is a change from June, when the forum first disappeared and TalkTalk said it was working on a solution. The wording has since changed from a temporary outage to a permanent-looking closure.
What happened to the TalkTalk Community Forum?
The forum had already been changing before it disappeared. In March 2026, TalkTalk announced that from 29 March the Community would move to peer-to-peer support, with TalkTalk staff no longer providing direct support through the forum.
Then, around 19 June 2026, the Community pages went offline. On 23 June, TalkTalk said some Community pages were unavailable and that it was working on a solution.
That suggested the forum might return. It did not.
The Community moved to peer-to-peer support and TalkTalk staff stopped handling forum queries directly.
The forum went offline. TalkTalk said it was aware of the issue and was working on a solution.
The forum remained unavailable and the old temporary wording disappeared.
TalkTalk’s current Help & Support page states that the Community is no longer available, and TalkTalk has confirmed the forum is gone.
Why has TalkTalk closed the forum?
TalkTalk has not published a detailed technical or financial explanation for closing the Community.
Its current position is that it is investing in support channels that give customers answers and direct assistance more simply. TalkTalk specifically points customers towards its Help & Support pages, My Account, live chat and phone support.
ISPreview asked TalkTalk whether the forum would return and reported that the closure is now effectively permanent rather than a temporary outage.
What we can say with confidence: the forum first vanished as what looked like an outage, but TalkTalk no longer describes it as a problem being fixed. Its official page now says the Community is simply no longer available.
What customers lose with the forum gone
The old Community was useful for a different reason than live chat or phone support. It gave customers a searchable public archive of previous problems, fixes and discussions.
Searchable answers
Customers could often find an old thread describing the same router, email, billing or connection problem before contacting support.
Peer-to-peer help
Experienced customers could explain workarounds and compare whether a problem was affecting other users.
Public issue visibility
Multiple users reporting the same fault made it easier to see whether an issue was isolated or widespread.
Longer technical discussions
Forum threads were better suited to detailed troubleshooting than a short live-chat session.
The replacement channels are more direct, but they do not provide the same public, searchable discussion archive.
Where can TalkTalk customers get help now?
Best for troubleshooting guides, step-by-step instructions, account topics and common broadband, phone, TV and email problems.
Use it to manage services, check bills, track orders, report broadband or phone faults and access customer support.
TalkTalk says the quickest route is through My Account. Go to Help & Support or Support, then choose the chat option.
TalkTalk’s current customer-service number is 0345 172 0088. Its main specialists are listed as available Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm.
Use My Connection for broadband diagnostics and Service Status to check known outages or planned maintenance in your area.
TalkTalk points customers to its Wi-Fi Assist app for help with Wi-Fi setup and connection problems.
For most account-specific issues: My Account → Live Chat is now the closest replacement for the old forum when you need direct help from TalkTalk rather than advice from other customers.

What about TalkTalk support on X?
The Community Forum is not the only public support route TalkTalk has stepped away from in 2026.
TalkTalk said its customer-service team would stop responding to posts and messages on X from 30 June 2026, instead directing customers towards My Account, the TalkTalk app and phone support.
So posting a private account problem on X should not be treated as a reliable way to reach TalkTalk customer service.
Can customers still get peer-to-peer help elsewhere?
Yes, but it will no longer be through an official TalkTalk Community.
Independent broadband forums still host TalkTalk discussions, including the TalkTalk section of the ISPreview forum. These can be useful for comparing experiences or discussing technical problems with other users.
Independent forums are not TalkTalk support. Never post passwords, account numbers, security answers, private addresses or other sensitive account information in a public discussion.
What if normal support does not solve the problem?
TalkTalk has a separate complaints process. Its current guidance recommends raising a complaint through live chat, although complaints can also be made by email, phone or post.
The complaints email address shown by TalkTalk is HereToHelp@talktalkplc.com. If a complaint remains unresolved within the relevant timescales, TalkTalk points customers towards CISAS, the independent alternative dispute resolution service.
The TalkTalk Community Forum has gone for good as an official support channel. Customers should now use the Help Centre, My Account, live chat, phone support, Service Status and TalkTalk’s other direct tools; independent forums remain useful only for unofficial peer-to-peer discussion.
