Vodafone TV Prices & Packages
The three monthly TV prices, what each tier includes and the increases already scheduled for a 24-month agreement.
Vodafone TV starts at £10 a month. Essential costs £17 with Netflix and HBO Max included; Ultimate costs £25.50 and adds Disney+ or Prime for eligible mobile customers. All are advertised on a 24-month plan, with increases on 1 April 2027 and 2028. You also need a qualifying Vodafone broadband or Pay Monthly mobile plan.
The key distinction: £10 buys Vodafone’s TV service, not Netflix and HBO Max. The £17 tier is the starting price with both subscriptions included. These are TV charges alongside the qualifying connectivity plan.
Vodafone TV package comparison
Each tier uses the Vodafone TV hub and includes Freely, Vodafone’s advertised 200+ live-channel selection, supported apps and 300+ cloud games. The paid streaming services are what mainly separate the packages.
| Plan | Includes | Now | April 2027 | April 2028 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vodafone TVBase tier | Live TV, Freely, games and supported apps. Netflix and HBO Max are not included. | £10 | £11.50 | £13 |
| TV EssentialTV + two subscriptions | Base features, Netflix Standard with Ads and HBO Max Standard with Ads. | £17 | £18.50 | £20 |
| TV UltimateMobile customers only | Essential features, plus a choice of Disney+ Standard or Prime. | £25.50 | £27 | Check order |
Ultimate price discrepancy: Vodafone’s live TV package page lists £28.50 from 1 April 2028, while its 2 October launch release lists £29.50. The £10 and £17 tiers agree across both sources. Check the exact Ultimate charge in the order summary and contract before you buy.
What is included across all three?
What will you actually pay?
The headline TV price is an add-on to a qualifying Vodafone Home Broadband or Pay Monthly airtime plan. Vodafone’s product terms also specify a minimum 20Mbps broadband download speed, an internet connection and a valid TV licence. You do not need a dish or aerial for Freely on the TV hub.
For example, a qualifying mobile customer can add the £17 Essential TV plan without taking Vodafone fixed broadband, provided their viewing connection meets the service requirements. Ultimate is shown as a mobile-plan option, rather than a general broadband-and-TV tier.
Vodafone says new customers taking an eligible Pro Broadband package by 28 October get TV Essential at no extra TV charge for the first 24 months. The Pro Broadband plan still has its own monthly charge and terms. Check eligibility and the full checkout price before ordering.
Before you choose a plan
- Look beyond the launch price. The TV charge rises on 1 April 2027 and again on 1 April 2028 during a typical 24-month agreement started now.
- Check the streaming tier. Essential includes the ad-supported Standard plans for Netflix and HBO Max, not their ad-free or highest-resolution tiers.
- Check the whole bundle. Compare the TV charge, underlying broadband or mobile plan, any discounts and any extra subscriptions together.
If you are deciding whether to take Vodafone broadband as the qualifying service, our Vodafone Broadband review covers its connection options and service separately from this TV package comparison.
Which Vodafone TV tier makes sense?
Choose the £10 base plan if you want the TV hub, Freely and streaming apps, but prefer to manage paid subscriptions yourself. Choose £17 Essential if you will use both included ad-supported Netflix and HBO Max plans. Consider £25.50 Ultimate only if you have an eligible mobile plan and will also use Disney+ Standard or Prime.
Value depends on the subscriptions you would otherwise pay for and the cost of your qualifying Vodafone plan. Treat the launch Pro Broadband offer separately from standard TV pricing, because it is conditional and time limited.
The normal TV prices are £10, £17 and £25.50 a month. Essential is the first tier with Netflix and HBO Max included. All three have scheduled April increases, and Vodafone’s two published 2028 figures for Ultimate conflict, so check that figure at checkout.
